Christmas is about community. Here in our community of Escamequita, we have a sharing tradition – we call Buckets of Love. We provide household essentials to our neighbors so they could have a few extra $Cordobas in hand for the holidays. Five gallon buckets are filled with things such as rice, beans, cooking oil, toothpaste, soap, soup, coffee etc. We purchase from local vendors [sorry Walmart] to ensure the love is shared amongst the local businesses as well. Please help us fill our buckets. Every dollar you donate goes directly into the hands of our Nicaraguan neighbors. Thank you for your help, and please share.–
